Game: Best, Worst, Funniest

We’re going to play a game called Best, Worst, Funniest. Here’s how it works: In groups of 2-3, everyone will take turns sharing their best, worst, or funniest moment from the year. You must share at least two out of the three categories.

We’re going to play a game called Finish the Doodle. Here’s how it works: The start of a doodle will be drawn on the board. Your task is to creatively transform it into something unexpected (below are two ideas for the start of a doodle)

Game: Human Wave

We’re going to play a game called Human Wave. Here’s how it works: Everyone stands in a line or circle. One person starts by performing a simple movement (e.g., raising their arms, clapping, or spinning), and the next person repeats it immediately, creating a wave.

Variations:

  • Reverse Wave: Send the wave back in the opposite direction.

  • Add-On Wave: Each person adds a new movement before passing it along.

  • Speed Wave: Pass the wave as fast as possible without breaking the rhythm.

Stand up if ...

  • You would like to work in the music industry

  • You still have a teddy bear (or toy) from when you were song

  • Your birthday is on a special day (e.g., on Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc)

Would you rather …

  • Go to the cinema or the theatre?

  • Watch a comedy show or the ballet?

Game: Thumb Pointing Challenge

We’re going to play a game called Thumb Pointing Challenge. Here’s how it works:

  • Start:Left hand: Thumbs up.

  • Right hand: Pointer finger pointing at the left thumb.

  • Switch: Swap so the left hand points, and the right hand gives a thumbs up.

  • Repeat: Keep switching back and forth as fast as you can without messing up.

The goal is to stay coordinated and go as quickly as possible!

Game: Pass the Clap

We’re going to play a game called Pass the Clap. Here’s how it works: Everyone stands in a circle. The goal is to pass a clap around the circle while following these rules:

  • Single Clap (Pass): Clap once to pass the clap to the next person in the circle.

  • Double Clap (Reverse): Clap twice to reverse the direction of the clap.

  • Triple Clap (Jump): Clap three times to skip the next person and pass the clap to the one after them.

The aim is to keep the rhythm smooth and flowing. If someone hesitates or gets it wrong, they’re out for the round.
