Game: Food for Life

We’re going to play a game called Food for Life. Here’s how it works:

Each person takes turns answering the question, "If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?" Participants can share their favourite dish, cuisine, or even a specific ingredient, and explain their choice.

This game is a fun and simple way to spark conversations and learn about each other's tastes and preferences. Feel free to ask follow-up questions or share why you agree or disagree with their pick!

Game: Story Starter

We’re going to play a game called Story Starter. Here’s how it works: In pairs, take turns saying one sentence at a time to create a story. When the teacher says "end," try to wrap up the story in 2-3 turns. For a variation, try building the story one word at a time instead of sentences for a more challenging and unpredictable experience!

Game: Wink Murder

We’re going to play a game called Wink Murder. Here’s how it works:

One player acts as the moderator and secretly chooses a “murderer” while the rest of the group keeps their eyes closed. Once chosen, everyone mingles, making casual conversation and eye contact. The murderer eliminates players by winking at them. If you’re winked at, wait a few seconds before dramatically “dying” and sitting off to the side.

The remaining players must carefully observe and deduce who the murderer is. If someone thinks they know, they can accuse by saying, “I accuse!” A second player must support the accusation to proceed. If the guess is correct, the murderer is caught, and the game ends. If not, the accuser is out, and the game continues until the murderer is revealed or everyone is eliminated.

Game: Two Truths and a Lie

We’re going to play a game called Two Truths and a Lie. Here’s how it works: Each person takes a turn introducing themselves by sharing two true statements and one lie about themselves. These statements can be about hobbies, experiences, or interests. The goal is for the group to guess which statement is the lie.

The lie can be as creative or believable as you like, while the truths can include surprising or unique facts to keep everyone guessing. Each player shares their three statements aloud, and the group discusses and votes on which one they believe is the lie.

Game: Game: Scissors, Paper, Rock Katamari Style

We’re going to play a game called Scissors, Paper, Rock Katamari Style. Everyone starts by finding a partner to play a best-of-three round of Scissors, Paper, Rock. The loser becomes the hype person for the winner, joining their team to cheer them on. Winners then pair up with other winners for the next round, with losers and their teams joining the winning side. This continues until only two final players remain, each with their own large group of supporters. The last two players face off in a final match to determine the ultimate champion, with the crowd cheering them on!
